Fundamental 21 Rules: How to Play Blackjack?
Blackjack is usually played using four or six card decks though single deck blackjack version exists. Just like ‘21’ or ‘Pontoon’, the objective here is to get a score closer to 21 than that of the dealer without exceeding. Every player in the game gets two cards facing down. The dealer gets one card facing up. According to the casino 21 rules, the dealer gets a second card facing down either after all hands are dealt or at the outset. After the cards are dealt, each player can decide whether he wants to get more cards or not.
Basic Blackjack Terms
If the dealer gets the same score as the player, the hand is called a tie and the player gets back his bet. A player can double his bet to receive on more card if he wants to do so. This is called ‘doubling’. If the two initial cards of a player have the same rank, he can choose to split the cards into two hands. Each of the two hands should have a bet equal to the original bet and the player deals the two hands one by one. Understanding the basic 21 rules is important to play well.
